Budget: $2,400 down, $300 tops (out the door) per month
Inspiration:
Mazda 3
Volvo S60
Love SUVs and bigger cars in general but that'll cost a pretty penny. Any recommendation is valid.
mazda or get something cheaper
Down to get something cheaper too. Thinking about cars in the Optima, Civic, Elantra category
op with your current budget, can you afford to lease a car without a job ? Or are the car payments dependent upon the soonest paycheck ?
Finance a used car from like 5 years back honestly. New cars woat.
Mazda goes hard on gas in the best way possible
My boy has one for his first car and trust me he never ever has to fill it, maybe a couple times a month and he drives far for work every day
Don’t listen to the fools in the thread OP, I’d recommend leasing, but a decent not to expensive one. if you like it cool, you have the option to finance/buy it after the lease is up in 2-3 years.

Dawg get you a nice Honda or Toyota. Lowest maintenance and expenses and just as luxurious as most cars in that price range
Man you wild for signing up for a $300 bill every month
I feel what you're saying. My concern isn't that its 300 but its whether he can afford it without a job.
Im hoping the pandemic will help us realize that if you aren't making good money, don't introduce anything into your life that makes you rely on your next paycheck.
If op can afford a 300 payment without working for a year-two years, then great.
take it from me when i was 19 spending half my check to pay 400 a month on a car. eventually it got repo'd because I had no money saved. i don't want that to happen to anyone else
op's best bet is to get 1994-2002 toyota/honda with that $2400 and grind.
Lease only if you’re trying to build credit and you have the funds saved, in any other situation just straight up buy it
