For my first car, I financed a 5 year old Accord with like 30k on it and that was my baby. Drove it everywhere until some stupid high school girl ran a stop sign high af coming back from a party and totaled my s***. Kept me safe though. Got another one right after.
I have a Hyundai now, it's alright. Tempted to go Mazda next time or go back to the Accord. Not really looking to spend a lot on cars with the way life is right now, I'm more interested in saving up for a decent place with a lower mortgage.
I'm 20 working part time as a social media manager for a hype shoe store in LA. Living rent free (a blessing) and have very few expenses. This lease will be my first liability and bill.
Save your money bro trust me. Save money and make good investments. Get a cheap car, why do u want a new car?
KTT is terrorfied of older cars tbh, my 1998 Escort has 283,000 miles on it and runs fine.
I would recommend a early 2010 BMW but most here are too scared to change oil
Budget: $2,400 down, $300 tops (out the door) per month
Inspiration:
Mazda 3
Volvo S60
Love SUVs and bigger cars in general but that'll cost a pretty penny. Any recommendation is valid.
All Volvo’s have been some of the safest cars I’ve ever been in. But the new ones are some of the sleekest, simple and smooth card to drive out right now. Luxurious but not overzealous
get a jetta i got mine 4 a good price n i love it as my daily driver
Wish they still made that turbo diesel in the US
paying for cars in cash >
leasing is the most counter productive thing you could do to your pockets makes absolute zero sense coming out of pocket for that much per month.
you have a part time job and you live in LA and you want to lease 🤢 smells like upcoming 23 year old regret tbh
