At the risk of sounding like an idiot, can someone explain what even is the a***ogy in the line "Closed on Sunday, you my chik-fil-a"?

I get that Chik Fil A is closed on Sundays, but who is the "you" Kanye is talking about? I'm not even sure if this line is trash or not because I literally don't understand what he's trying to say. It'd be like me saying "Closed on Mondays, you my barber shop"?

yeah cool but that doesn't explain anything, it's just telling me what I already know. Chik-fil-a is closed on Sundays because that's the holy day, I get it. But it doesn't explain how that relates to the "you" Kanye's referring to.

Chic-Fil-A, a business that takes the risk of putting faith over profit by closing on Sundays in devotion to God. It also emphasizes prioritizing family over anything else (literal profit of the ‘gram’).

It’s someone putting it all on the line for faith and family - maybe his wife, who knows. All wrapped in an incredibly banal and corny lyric that at the same time makes you smile a bit.

Good thing the second half of the song more than makes up for the goofiness, however relatable, with serious bars and amazing sonics. As much as I enjoy the Chic-fil-A reference, the corniness makes me wish something else were there in its place.

But being closed implies not doing something on Sunday. It can't be God, because Sunday's the Lord's day. It can't even be about himself because he's actually do the most on Sundays these days. If it's about Kim it still makes no sense because nothing else in the song expounds upon that or even references that.

The line would legitimately make more sense and fit into what you're saying if he just said that they were Chik-fil-a. But by saying that they're also closed on Sundays, it's implying theres some kind of specific comparison there and that the connection is both of these items happen to be closed on Sundays.

Doing Sunday service on Sunday is worshipping. Chick fil a is closed not so you dont have to do anything but to make you available to worship/ go to church and be with family and loved ones.

but he's referring to a specific person, like this is a special quality this person has, "being closed on Sundays". And by saying that they're like "Chik-Fil-A", I feel like it would imply that they're not accessible to him on Sundays, because Chik-Fil-A isn't accessible on Sundays. I hope you get what I'm saying, I'm not trying to argue, I'm just trying to get to the bottom of this lol and I need some more explanation.

Alternatively if the song was called "Close on Sundays", the a***ogy would make more sense, because then it could be word play with close/closed and be about his connection to God on Sundays.
