such a dumb line
it was kinda funny hearing it the first time but it just gets worse the more you have to hear and think about it

a lot of kanye lines work that way, there's even a thread in this kanye sxn that displays some of em
anywho, as to the argument that was kinda on pg 1, i still think it's god
kanye isn't saying that the "you" character is like chickfila in the sense that that person is closed on sunday. at least, the wording doesn't confine the interpretation to only possibly mean that
chickfila can be the thing closed on sunday
and
god can be like chickfila because chickfila is goat, and so is god, i guess, least according to kanye
i don't really think this would ruin the song if my interpretation were wrong though it's quite clear to see that his point about the idea of being "closed on sunday" is that it's a day for the lord. that's why he's saying put the gram away, hold your family, pray.
if you wanna make sure every lyric strings together adhering to a sense of logic though, i gotta say you're gonna have a really hard time with a lot of music
I think it means God fills the hunger that chik fil a does and he doesn’t need it to be open on Sunday, because God is his chik fil a?

Like I said on the previous page, I don’t necessarily care if lines connect like that or if lyrics are a little vague. I just feel like in the context of this song it’s delivered so matter of factly and the basis of the songs structure and title that it feels like it should at least be a concrete a***ogy
