More Life was amazing.

But Scorpion was just mad long and bloated, it gave such a terrible listening experience idk what they were going for. OVO phoned that in so hard. But apart for its good single songs the album is Drake at his abs worst :vomit:

one of the worst major releases in memory at least views was looking like a classic for the first 4 tracks

this man dropped a 1h30m album like I’m supposed to head to the theatre to watch an A24 movie

Scorpion is the prime example of putting quantity over quality. Man could had cut it down to 10 tracks on each side and made a great album instead of a mixed bag. Still some great songs.

He said he wanted to make a double disc album like Life After Death and The Blueprint 2 but nobody talks about BP2 because its so bloated

Eh I greatly enjoy every single song on Scorpion so I don't really see the criticism

It’s Drake’s worst album. I’ve realized very recently. If it was side A alone it would be a solid album.

Side B has about 3 of Drake’s worst songs. S*** is terrible once you stop being a fan for a second and really listen.

way too much mid and trash, only a handful of good songs. absolutely embarrassing release. i liked it when it came out but it’s aged like rotten milk

Which stings even more considering the two initial singles were goated and his 2018 feature run was impeccable

The Pusha beef disrupted the project to a certain extent for sure, but ultimately, the OVO team looked at that tracklist and were like

"Yeah sweet we'll keep it at 25 tracks and leave RHB, I'm Upset, Talk Up, That's How You Feel, Finesse (damn even naming these reminds me how much filler there was) on the album"

I actually like most of the songs to an extent, like if it comes on I wouldnt skip, but I'm definitely not coming back to them on my own. only a few songs off there that I actively decide to listen to

How tf did they manage to make Drizzy & HOV on a vinylz beat an absolute snoozer I legit hate that track lmaoo
