I know for many people Drake making similar projects is a meme of sorts, but I think that Drake’s next release is up in the air.
Will we get classic Drake style? Honestly Nevermind part 2? Another collab tape? Something completely new?
There are a lot of potential options and it’s pretty exciting for me.
My guess is it’s going to be more experimentation, and with a more listless, remorseful feel. I feel like Search and Rescue will be seen as a real inflection point, as the moment he no longer enjoyed just making young people music about topics like double texting or something and he wants to start trying something new. I also think HN is a sign that he will be switching the style with the topic.
What do you guys think? Where will Champagne Papi take us next?

Personally I gave up on him, completely grew out of his music in all reality. Now I’ll let y’all kids enjoy whatever he releases, but he’s in and I’m out

After Honestly Nevermind and Her Loss I think we're due for a simple back to Drake's roots type album. Something between Take Care and NWTS. He should utilize Vital as an intro or outro because it's too good to leave off his main studio albums. And more features from OVO artists and underground acts, we're tired of mainstream features like Hov and Future. Lucky Lefty was great too but maybe finish that and use it as a predecessor project like Scary Hours 3 ep or a mixtape like IYRTITL to keep fans fed while we wait

He lets other leaks go up but always strikes down Vital. There's still a strong chance he intends on using it. It is one of his best songs so the fascination with it is understandable

When has there ever been an almost decade old leak surface on a new album?

If he come with that same energy on a solo album it just might end up being a classic

Wishful thinking tho Drake never does what we ask

her loss was basically a short solo album with some 21 features sprinkled in to give it its own pizzazz and uniqueness. it being a "collab album" is its gimmick. especially w the run of bangers theyve been on in recent years

    interesting

meant Drake specifically but still never knew that, was it because the fans liked it so much?
