When has there ever been an almost decade old leak surface on a new album?
Most of the tracks on Radiohead’s A Moon Shaped Pool. Some of the tracks on that s*** were nearly 2 decades old.

were those songs that were leaked to the public or unreleased?
Nah chill don't minimize 21 like that
He's not really wrong
There's 4 solo Drake songs on there compared to 1 solo 21 Savage song, and even apart from that there's songs like Hours in Silence where it's a 7 minute Drake song that 21 is on for 30 seconds

It's still the synergy between them that made the album what it was. Drake was fired up because of that and that's why that s*** was hitting so hard. It doesn't have to be exactly equal contributions right down the middle to be considered a collab album

I'm not saying it's a solo Drake album but it's not a reach to say it's Drake feat. 21 Savage

Well yeah I mean Drake is the frontrunner as he should be
I want a Dark Lane Demo Tapes with Jumbotron and BackOutsideBoyz, Search & Rescue type songs

i need drake to continue to blur the lines of genres and come up with something fresh and innovative to shake up the game once again
her loss was basically a short solo album with some 21 features sprinkled in to give it its own pizzazz and uniqueness. it being a "collab album" is its gimmick. especially w the run of bangers theyve been on in recent years
You not wrong but the marketing is what decides how the album is remembered
Because of marketing IYRTITL is a “mixtape” More Life is “Playlist” DLDT is a “Compilation Album” Her Loss is a “Collaboration Album” and his next album will only be his “8th Studio Album” even tho he’s like 20 projects in lol
Nah chill don't minimize 21 like that
If you buy the cd it literally has the tracks listed as Drake Feat. 21 Savage. It's only a listed as collab on iTunes and streaming. Legally it's a Drake album behind the scenes but he'll never say that because he wants to help 21. The royalty deal is probably 90/10 at best. 21 said Drake wrote a lot of his parts for him so it could be less

Even Drake knows it's Drake Feat. 21 it's in the files
Personally I gave up on him, completely grew out of his music in all reality. Now I’ll let y’all kids enjoy whatever he releases, but he’s in and I’m out
Yeah Drake is on a multi billions mission at this point, a completely different game at this point... He's not exactly chasing artistic immortality in 2023... To say the very least.

Again, y'all keep talking about semantics. I'm talking about the energy and intention put into the album. Why y'all keep tryna box that man out?

Can you exactly blame him? It’s been over 14 years since releasing his debut project and he’s clearly on autopilot for the past 7 years. Obviously, his determination to create and put out music is still there, however, it’s crucial to observe his jaded status when the quality doesn’t fulfill the benchmark set.
Honestly Nevermind proved that whatever genre he attempts he will approach it in a bored autopilot style because he doesn't care about music anymore

This is what the fans aren’t willing to accept, he can experiment with all kinds of sounds but always sound bored.

Why does every artist have to be experimental for you goofballs

He used to go hard in 2014-2015 era, songs like 0 to 100 and Believe Me, he had moments where he rapped with passion
Nowadays it’s copying a poppin street rappers auto tune flow OR his go to bored golden boy voice lazy flow
Why does every artist have to be experimental for you goofballs
why you asking him like he the one who made the experimental album lmao
