Realistically I’m aiming for a low 6 figures with a bonus and stock options.

Ideally I’d be making half a million or more at a FAANG

I’d like 150k but I could make do with 40k, provided it’s consistent across the years

Considering the amount of time I want to spend in school and how hard I want to work

I’m fine getting 140-180k after taxes. It’s definitely realistic and most of the time I’d just be working 3 12 hour shifts a week.

Once I settle down my salary would take a hit and drop to low 6 six figures before taxes tho. But if I have enough saved up I’d be chilling.

Plus when I go back to school for my doctorate degree I could push my salary to 200-250k if I really wanted to bust my ass in school for another 3 years. Or I could just get an easy online degree in 2 years and break into 130-150k before taxes while settled down.

I once read, that there is a limit where more money actually doesnt satisfy you any longer.

  • Ill be happy when i hit 6 figures, anything over that is a luxury

$50,000 - $80,000 depending on what the cost-of-living (COL) is for whatever state I find myself to be in.

The main s*** I would be paying for at that point is my truck note and rent.

It’ll probably be in the IT field since that’s what I got my degree in.
