This isn’t true
Whats your take then?
there's literally zero $200,000 salary jobs
even elite engineers are basically getting their upper-tier pay packages in the form of performance bonuses and options
most jobs that pay above these ranges that people ITT want are 99% commission based anyway
this thread is for what people wish though so good luck i guess
Considering the amount of time I want to spend in school and how hard I want to work
I’m fine getting 140-180k after taxes. It’s definitely realistic and most of the time I’d just be working 3 12 hour shifts a week.
Once I settle down my salary would take a hit and drop to low 6 six figures before taxes tho. But if I have enough saved up I’d be chilling.
Plus when I go back to school for my doctorate degree I could push my salary to 200-250k if I really wanted to bust my ass in school for another 3 years. Or I could just get an easy online degree in 2 years and break into 130-150k before taxes while settled down.
You tryna be a Hollywood plastic surgeon?
As a registered nurse. Avg pay where I am is gonna be around 75k before taxes. But with nursing you can take on travel contracts to maximize income.
If you go somewhere like Cali you take on contracts paying 2.5-3k per week with the majority of it being tax free. This is where the big money is.
Then if you go back to school for your doctorate you're looking at a CRNA degree (3 years) for 200k+ before tax or nurse practitioner (2 years) for 120-150 before tax. You can also still travel with these advanced degrees and get 3.8-4k per week.

Read that somewhere as well. Think the number was 70k
