what's so crazy about this is that Rick Rubin produced the the song that is sampled in this song, "Raining Blood" by Slayer in 1986

and then decades later remixed it and produced this for Lil Jon in 2004

I respect him and trust that he'll take Donda to the next level

If he was able to do it in such a short time frame for yeezus then I see no issue

Also, I don’t hate Rick Rubin, he is a legend!! I just feel like he could ruin this album. I just don’t like being teased all these tracks for God to do the laundry. If we got a Pablo sized album and Ye took a break for a few years I’d be happy! But I’d hate for this album to be butchered like some say Yeezus was, I’m not doubting he did good on Yeezus, but there were things he did that people didn’t like and I don’t want that to happen to the last album he might probably make for a while (if he’s running to president and the Yeezy gap stuff)

Great producer and tbh it seems v simplistic to say that the only effect he could have on the album is cutting tracks

But yeezus was not butchered period

I loved what he did to Yeezus. That’s how an album should be cleaned up. Not chopped to the bare bones.

Just want all of yall that disagree with me to answer one question, if Ye drops and we only get a 10 track album, would you be happy after all this waiting and the teased tracklists we got? Because that could be down to Rick. Like I say I don’t hate the man, he produced some of my favourite albums, but if he considers some of those extra tracks Ye added to the list (second tracklist onwards) then I’ll be disappointed

He's literally one of the people responsible for a lot of modern sounds so idk why people complain. He saved Yeezus from being a potential mess and made sure it's the masterpiece that it is (the original On Sight was 10 minutes or something dumb for example)
