No way CDs age like s***. Those book of CDs we had rotted away. Our vinyl collections are still here.
Vinyl can be finnicky from the jump. Either way you have to be careful
CDs are primed for a massive comeback soon. It's going to be crazy. Trying to swoop in while the prices are low
Just as long as new CDs stop being on CDr and coming with a website link for credits instead of a booklet
Terrible pressings of new albums and hearing crackle behind every second of audio, warping & defects aplenty, its like you paid for a YouTube dude to play around with the source audio
CD is a smooth authentic to studio ride in comparison
Ahh I know what you're talking about. It's the same exact things he's referring to as warmth. Some people like that. But I can totally understand a preference to higher fidelity.

My car doesn't even have a CD player, just Bluetooth and aux. So idk if they'll ever make a true comeback, seems like a lot car manufacturers don't even bother with cd players anymore
Really tho who the f*** wants to do this again??
exactly, also they just get damaged so easily along with eveyrthing slowly becoming non CD friendly

CDs make no sense like wtf is the difference between your CD and your mp3 or flac. It's like saying we're gonna go back to coaxial cables instead of HDMI
my set up thoughh
See look at this it's aesthetically pleasing he can impress the b****es with it and it doesn't sound like his digital files. It makes sense.

exactly vinyl has a niche because it sounds a little different, who tf gonna pick playing CDs over just plugging in the AUX, the difference can't even be picked up by the average ear.
my set up thoughh
u really shouldnt have those records on the side stacked like that tbh but nice otherwise
For some people, sound quality. Though you can’t make that argument if you play the records on a Crosby turntable from Urban Outfitters
Even on a rega planar 3 theres no quality benefits over digital. Its all bs
a***og records sound 100% better than the albums sound on streaming tbh. The digital pressed ones dont.

Yeaaa they are only there because I took this pic while I was doing organizing , I just moved in to my house recently

f***ing crine at the vinyl price boom that started on Discogs last year
All of a sudden masses of people were dropping $250 on LPs that were $25 6 months prior
copping on discogs these days bad for your health
Btw anyone know where to cop Daft Punk vinyl for a decent price ?? Can't find those s***s anywhere right now

How do you figure?
Btw anyone know where to cop Daft Punk vinyl for a decent price ?? Can't find those s***s anywhere right now
There's nowhere. Same thing happened with DOOM vinyl when he passed. So combine a high demand with an already low supply because all the pressing plants are backed up, you're just gonna have to wait for represses whenever those happen
daft punk s*** was everywhere until they retired now its a f***ing wasteland lmao

It was already running low tbh, couldn't find a copy of Discovery even before their breakup
Idk
I buy them to support the artists
Don’t even own a record player
I never open them
Just tuck them away
