And when you've listened to that album a dozen times and it starts to wear then what?
If you leave it by a windowsill for a bit too long and it warps then what?
If you wanna listen to it literally anywhere other than your virgin cave then what?
I promise you I know what I'm talking about, records are unsustainable and you're moving backwards the vast majority of the time.
I’ve spun quite a few albums a hundred times and never notice anything different
Unless when I’m too drunk off my ass and accidentally scratch the record
@Bow_And_Arrow i said it all and no one cared
records I have after the 90s sound good tho

1. If you don't have a crosley, spinning a record a dozen times isn't going to wear down the grooves and won't make it sound like s***
2. If you're dumb enough to leave it by a windowsill in 100 degree heat and let it warp, that's your fault. But any normal storage won't cause the albums to warp. Imagine being too poor to buy a Kallax from ikea for $30
3. If I want to listen to it elsewhere, then I play digital for convenience in my car or headphones. But there's a good chance your record player will still be using the same speakers as what you'd use to listen to music at home digitally if you didn't have it on vinyl, so yeah, spending an extra $300 on an above-average turntable isn't gonna break the bank and will let you listen to quite a bit of music that sounds better than what you'd listen to digitally.
So you can respectfully shut the f*** up now. Here's your reply
Oh ya, I went to the recycling dumpster the other day and found like 4 cases of s***ty records
At first I was like 🤑 gold mine
And I put the first case in my truck
Then I went back to grab more but started going thru them and they were mostly looking like random bullshit lol
big artwork, warmer sound, it's a way to physically own an album, get to watch vinyl go spin
all of this
It's also fun checking out and getting cool audio equipment
didnt realize ppl get into their feelings about ppl spending their own money on s*** like vinyl lol weird flex
A good set up should run you $200 and you shouldn’t spend more than $30 per record. Also, don’t buy records made after the ‘90s
aint no way ur getting a full setup for $200 unless you get some thrift steals

yeah decent record player sets you back 200 dollars
Is it too hard to understand that 99.9% of people never buy vinyl just to listen to that specific album on vinyl and never on digital? Like yeah, I have an original pressing of Rage Against the Machine's debut album that blows any digital master out of the water, but it's not like I'm never going to listen to the digital just because I own it on vinyl.
Digital is obviously more convenient than vinyl, but you can't act like there's no point in owning records
yeah decent record player sets you back 200 dollars
and for $200 you're not even getting a built-in preamp
my audio-technica bluetooth player slaps and its only 199 and comes with its own speaker. Its nothing incredible, but it does the job. Sound nazis are weird to me tbh
and for $200 you're not even getting a built-in preamp
well what i did cause i was tight ass that i got powered edifier speakers which let me buy mini amp for 50 bucks
i am planning to upgrade though

That's a lot of exceptions and purchases and things to remember for what's basically a placebo effect.
You like em cuz the art is big and they're collectable. Just say it

NRL (Australian rugby league) 8 game multi (which is the entire round)

Yeah, and the justification was to prove that your statement "Because 99% of the time a record will sound worse than a digital copy." is bullshit because it is. And I didn't state a single lie. You flipped your script to go off on a tangent about inconveniences and what not. Point still stands that there will be a lot of times that a record won't sound worse than digital, and it really doesn't take that much effort to invest in both if you're that much of a music lover

Tip for future reference, whenever "99%" is used in conversation it's hyperbolic and means "a lot/most"
As for everything else I'll tap in my friend Wilt
