Im responding to what you said. You said your thread was locked because the mods want this to be a safe space. Apparently making the statement "suicide is okay" isnt an appropriate thing to say so it was locked.
Its not too hard to understand or a huge deal

Every time a mod makes a thread that embarrassingly flops, a bunch of innocent threads that are popping get suspiciously locked for no reason

It shouldn't be a safe space from threads like that it wasn't hateful. It was just an alternate perspective, you don't have to agree. It's not a big deal in the grand scheme of life but in terms of this forum it is. It shows an inability in regards to seeing alternate perspectives in life.

A forum that isn't allowing you to have those kind of conversations isn't a forum, it's a playground we can't step out of the lines of.

I never said that's why it was locked, I don't know why it was locked because mods here never care to explain themselves, so we just shooting in the dark.

I merely said it isn't ideal to stifle discussion just because it's a sensitive topic. If the mods feel that way there needs to be a rule that says that, then I won't complain because my thread will be locked for breaking a rule. But when there's no rule in place and a mod makes that decision just cause they feel like it, then it becomes an issue.

And it's not about my topic, you can view my thread history, I've always been vocal about mods doing things off bias and emotion rather than just doing their job and modding the site based on site rules.

The section is called life, this is the absolutely perfect place

Why avoid talking about things that happen in life in the life section?

I don't agree with the take really but it's interesting to hear why some people might and where their ideas come from because most people have dealt with the suicide of a friend or family member
