Weak example as I see threads in music all the time talking about the declining state of music or why new music is unlistenable, or people not finding enjoyment in music. I wouldn't be shocked to see a discussion about music in the f***ing music section.

I didn't change it because nobody brought it to my attention. I didn't lock it, a mod did, am I to know to check off an invisible list of things the mods might not like about my thread before I post it? And to say I didn't invite discussion? The use of question marks all over my paragraph would imply I'm asking open ended questions, and seeing how people were discussing that in and of itself proves the thread was inviting discussion I don't get your point here.

Again you argue with fallacies. If every thread was like mine? What does that mean? I found the thread about a guy fridge laying down to be comical, does that mean I want the entire page to be filled with people's fridges falling? I don't fail to admit when I'm wrong, I always invite varying opinion on any topic I've opened up. But please tell me where I am misinformed and also what misinformation I spread. Educate me as you say I'm not receptive to it.

And If you must know I have lost people to suicide, and I've literally had to stop my little sister several times and deal with her crippling depression with her as well as others. That is what's shaped MY opinion on it. As you've had experiences that have shaped YOURS. My thread was a space for BOTH out thoughts and instead you believe only YOURS should be prevalent because it's the 'right' one. If someone went through it and credited my thread as their sole inspiration idk what you want me to do about that? Someone could cite ANYTHING on the internet as a reason. Made it very clear I wasn't encouraging it and your logic is "Well someone may see it and do it so just don't talk about the subject okay?"

And as a final note, this thread was made in response to what happened. It wasn't made ABOUT what happened. This was something I've been wondering about for awhile now and clearly seeing as how everyone agrees I'm not the only one. But you have a lovely day babes.

That being said, if life is perpetual pain, everyone should at least have the option to fly away. Nobody deserves to be kept in cages against their will, never.
The best way to deal with this as a society is to stop stigmatizing this. Healthy conversations about this subject with friends/family/acquaintances is necessary.

theres really no winning being a mod because people get pissed at you when you do your job. thats half the reason i didn't really visit this section after the migration from the old ktt. and by the time i started actively modding again this section was in shambles with low effort lame ass s***posts and garbage racist/sexist takes. people got so PISSED at me about locking and moving threads, even when there were reports about the threads.

this is the life section, not the "concern trolling troll post edgelord section". go to 4chan or reddit if you wanna do that kinda stuff.
