Well yeah, something only happens to the people behind the project. Their bottom line gets affected. The average joe is not getting f***ed here. So negligible if we're talking about a big corporation, a bit more unfortunate if we're talking about smaller studios/artists.

It's a good thing especially with how streaming has taken over. Accessing older material will get harder and harder. I personally pirate things like software then buy if it's good enough
