The guy in that tweet is cappin for whatever reason. He literally took that entire block of text OUT of CONTEXT and also lied by saying he had to get on an email list to get to the site. I didn't have to enter an email so how did he?

Anyway, I didn't see anywhere on that page that said it was going to be MILITARY service (they're going to make Americorps/Peace Corps type jobs) and nothing said it was going to be MANDATORY. In fact, it bluntly states 'Service for all (WHO WANT IT)' .

It says that it's going to focus on pushing these jobs toward the youth, college students, high school students, etc and that they will be paid and get other benefits, like college grants, etc

When I was a kid I was part of a local program that gave us "jobs" helping our community and also provided us mentorship opportunities so I think something like this on a national scale isn't a bad idea.
