KoobPeople are supposed to be alone naturally, it’s really healthy to let your SO have space and be their own person. Once you get dependent on someone for anything such as happiness, etc you’re done for. You would be lying to yourself and your partner if you said you want to sleep w them every night, it’s okay to want to be alone

Nah I think it’s cool to have your own room. Like you said, y’all still sleep in the same bed every night, y’all just got your own room on the side. I think that’s awesome! It lets y’all have your own creativity for you guys want your rooms to look

Side note, but I always found it weird to see men seemingly being forced to sell their nerd s*** when they get married. That kinda seems like you gotta throw out all the things you love and cherish out the window. If a girl ain’t boutta accept me and my nerd s***, we ain’t together no more tbh

TIIMMY BURNERWell it's the same idea as a lounge room except instead of a general lounge room it's YOUR lounge room done up just how you like it instead of once again having to compromise on certain things to have a lounge room to both likings. Like I have said we are still sleeping together every night so it's same difference fr.
This is fine. I already told my wife when we buy our first house in the near future that I'm putting together everything in the basement and she aint getting a say in it. that's my space
we're gonna turn one room into a lil art studio/office for her. that's her space.

Yeah exactly. Funny example that just brought up however small but we are currently painting our room. I kinda just let her pick the colors and s***, but that's because I am the type I compromise anything. But she asked me she was like "well it will be your own little room what color would YOU like it to be?" Small s*** like that, being able to come into a room that's all you, no compromising her stuff or her tastes you make that motherfucker how you want and she does the same and at the end of the day whether it be in 'my' room or 'her' room we still sleeping together.
Or she had a old hello kitty collection set up in her old room before she came here that she never brought over or set up. Partly I feel like because you don't come in a man's house and in a man's room and make that motherfucker hello kitty themed, at least how I think she views it. Small as it seems having her own space would let her dip into that part of herself again and have a room set up just how she likes it not how WE like it.
