One day, everyone will take a step back and realize how much time and money they wasted on pointless arguments, accolades that aren't theres, and people they will never meet in real life just to feel like they won

I think a lot of them know this deep down but are so deluded in their fandom/too prideful to admit that their obsession is stupid and one sided. Defending nicki or some random kpop idol etc is their entire identity and they don’t wanna lose that

  • Without sales/fans, no record deal

Without sales/fans, you have no music career

    Without sales/fans, you’re a ktt2 artist

Clip of Prince saying MJ only gassed up because of sales

  • Sep 18, 2023

sales have always been important but they can't the single metric to determine the quality of a musical artist

  • Sep 18, 2023

Dre and Pac in the 90s
Em and 50 in the 00s
Yeezus/Cole/Mac dropping same day and Drake stans post streaming change in 10s

  • Sep 18, 2023

Since stan culture became a thing online (ktt probably influenced it too)
