Pretty much. Being woke literally means recognizing injustices especially as it pertains to race. I know other cultures came in and gentrified it but end of the day, how the heck can you be upset at someone advocating against social injustice? Doesn’t make any sense. If you’re against cancel culture, cool, that’s something white people made popular anyways. But being against wokeness is being against growth

I know you’re too stupid to understand a Malcolm x, but at the time you had white liberals that were siding with republicans and that’s why it was hard for blacks to get civil rights. that quote isn’t relevant to today’s political sphere.

okay my friend. surely you see the point of the video though right? that using race as the most important aspect of one's identity and positing that you can use it to determine intention and predict behavior is a basic facet of modern wokeness, yet it is also inherently and obviously racist itself.
so there is a clear contradiction.

surely you see that the video is a deception right? they’re obviously twisting wokeness into something it’s not in order to criticize it, because they do not like that wokeness makes fair criticisms about racism. well perhaps "wokeness", like many ideologies, contains a great many ideas, some of which are fairly represented by this video and others which are not.
similar to how "feminism" could mean blatant man hating and sexism or simply the idea that men and women should have equal opportunities in life.
i personally know a lot of white people whose conception of wokeness is pretty well summarized by the video. they are very racist and use race to constantly generalize. they may say things such as "all white people are racist" or "only white people can be racist". they interpret society primarily through a lens of race and are seemingly unable to comprehend how this actually fuels division and prevents us from behing able to understand each other.
perhaps you and i are simply talking about different conceptions of wokeness

woke has also been associated with pc culture. So I can see why people are against it.
words can have multiple meanings. For example telling someone to "stay woke" vs a white girl sayin "its not very woke of you to say black its AfRiCaN AmEriCaN" white people take over words and diminish their meaning all the time
