Could you share some examples of "racism being called out when there isn't actually any" for the class?
sure. i just had this discussion with one of my friends about white people having dreadlocks.
there is of course some people who believe this is appropriation of a traditional black hair style and therefore oppressive raicst.
i however believe it is everyone's right to wear their hair how they please and to try and prevent people from doing so based on their skin color would be itself raicst.
what do you think?
calling out racism when it isnt there is something you shouldn't do
calling out racism when it is there is something that you should do
reading comprehension wasn't your strong suit in school eh
But who are you to decide when something is or isn't racist?
Another poster just told you this but white people didn't even believe black people had racist experiences with cops for decades. This idea that racism doesn't exist unless it's explicitly obvious is how we got here today.
I don't even think you know what you're trying to say or what you're arguing for.
MF what?
You think all of this is just coincidence?
You are literally a moron
Read the article or just stfu.
i would say same about you tbh if you cannot interpret these stats properly
of course there are racial disparities when it comes to wealth. who has all the old money and is therefore able to pass down economic advtange through generations?
if a black family is able to accumulate wealth they can break the poverty cycle

there has to actually be standards for what racism is
it cant just be whatever is most convenient for it to be at one particular time
surely u agree

I suggest it's time for you to start learning what white people did when black people wanted to "accumulate wealth".
Google "Tulsa race massacre" as a start ๐

No offence but it sounds like you have an overly simplistic view of things. I think if you did some reading on history and what systemic racism looks like you would see that creating standards of what racism is has been very difficult. Racism changes and morphs to fit the time period.
Racism used to be more explicit, hostile behaviours that racists would take against black people. Now those things are commonly agreed upon as 'bad', but we still have institutional powers that subjugate black people and widen the gap of inequality. Racism now gets baked into policy decisions rather than something that individuals do. All of this makes it difficult to pinpoint and identify.
If you don't know any of this I would recommend reading about it.
