there’s simply no other possible album other than Blonde or MBDTF
finally rich or barter 6
Obviously I was there too lmaoo, just crazy what a 2-3 year difference is to people yknow
true, just by a couple years i missed the gigantic wayne era for high school, but for my older brother who is like 4ish years older than, wayne, g unit, "old" kanye, cam etc. was all his s***
s*** comes in hot and flys out fast af lol
finally rich or barter 6
I love Chief but c’mon man
I keep forgetting y’all 17y/o smh
Not that weird, I would’ve been 17 when I graduated too. It’s because my birthday is in June, literally days after the school year is typically over.
yeee, its just rare
i get/got the same reactions irl too since forever lol
my bday is in august
I love Chief but c’mon man
I keep forgetting y’all 17y/o smh
it's not even top 5 keef projects but i'd argue it is a more important album than anything kanye dropped this decade
this no disrespect to ye either
people dont understand how much cruel summer made kanye "cool" again to the average nigga tho
the hits and gutter songs from it, s*** was everywhere from parties to cars to niggas smoking in the ditches behind gas stations lol
if you were in high school starting with 2010 and got to experience mbdtf, wtt, cruel summer, mnimn, mchg & yeezus in your 4 years before you graduated
then you know the vibes
This is exactly me. Bought MBDTF the fall semester of my 9th grade year.
WTT. The other two are Mid
Meh
MCHG is way over hated, but I can see why. Songs like Tom Ford was such a weak attempt at a mainstream rap hit from Jay
and Yeezus is overrated. It’s a cult Kanye stan classic, but it also pinpoints his decline lyrically.

real af, era was brazy & we were just lucky enough to come in at the right time to where we could soak it all up during those 4 years, and still got to experience 2015 & 2016 shortly after
regardless if its because of my age, but 2010 to 2016 is my fav era along with the 90s
edit: lowkey 2010s fell off after 2016 imo tho smh

Real luxury rap s***
If you could describe this album in two words “Luxury Rap” would deflee be those two words
They should’ve created a new genre (luxury rap) specifically after this album
Finally rich isn't even top 3 keef though
ya ik top 3 is Back From The Dead, Almighty So, then probably Bang, pt 2.
I also have Almighty DP and BFTD2 above Finally Rich if we're being honest but FR is such an important album.
After WTT
Ye got creative and pushed the envelope, taking his music, performance and art to a level never seen before, at least by his standards. Meanwhile Hov was still stuck in 2011, as he tried to make an evolved solo version of WTT.
Says it all really.
WTT did more for Hov than it did for Ye. Hov really needed that album, he was on a bad run.

Agreed. 2016 was hit album after hit album. Loved every month of the year.

Luxury rap, the Hermes of verses
Sophisticated ignorance, write my curses in cursive
Crazy

Not denying it!
Think back to when Good Music and Ye opened up at the BET Awards 2012
When Ye Kim Bey & Jay sat front row
That era
