Idk I kinda got what I wanted out of utopia but not really

Was hoping he’d tap back into his old sound and go left field, especially after Astroworld which was super commercial while still being artsy, was kind of like his Graduation. I hoped he’d go muddy and dark after dropping his most polished album, and I thought for sure he wouldn’t after the astrofest tragedy to preserve his endorsements. But he still said f*** it and did it, and that’s exactly what I wanted

But I will say I don’t enjoy the album as much as all his other s*** except birds. Just isn’t as focused as he usually is on here and has a lot going on. I’m used to him dropping s*** that resets the industry

I think the beat switch on MELTDOWN isn’t at all as abrasive as the ones on Sicko mode, I think that’s one of the few beat switches from Travis lately that actually works well and still feels like the same song but different

I cannot say the same about SKITZO, which is literally three different songs pasted together for no f***in reason

Really want him to get personal on his next album. Talk about his kids, relationships and stardom. That’s really the one thing his music is missing for me

I’m not comparing it but I’m saying it takes all of the good things about those albums and perfected it to create such an interesting atmosphere imo

Maybe after the success of UTOPIA, if he stays out of trouble and doesn’t get forced to have to do another blockbuster album, he’ll give us an album full of Astrothunders, My Eyes’, Parasails, Alrights, 90210’s, Nakeds (all songs that put him lightyears ahead of all the artists that ktt tries to compare him to💯)
