That means in order to accumulate 50k worth of faked album sales you’d have to amass 62,500,500 streams.
Now there are 10,080 minutes in a full tracking week. That means a three minute song can be played 3,360 times over the course of that week.
So in order to fake an extra 50k onto your sales total you would need over 18,000 individual devices with individual paid accounts streaming your music 24/7 for the entire week while also not raising a red flag to Spotify and Billboard to what you’re doing.
That make sense to y’all?

the fake streams happen but it's not for album sales it's to make the song seem popular so people stream that song

I just want good music. Bino’s self titled and Silk Sonic flopped sales wise and both are some of my favourite recent albums. Same goes for albums like Bandana aswell
