So with that being known how do people on here justify the fact that they're using sales as a talking point when it comes to discussing music ?
I would assume it's weighted relative to population of listeners. Every city listed in op is a small city.
how am I the first person that has pointed this out itt? seems pretty obvious to me lol...

Ain't no way for 2 reasons :
French not a C-D lister he a CD seller
They Got Amnesia still not on CD tho..

I love how you're just completely assuming that Rolling Stones "Top Cities" metric is 100% accurate and not broken
pretty interesting because on Spotify DaBaby's top cities are
LA
Dallas
Chicago
Atlanta
Syndey Australia
& it was always like that. Rolling Stone just had broken metrics imo
why would streaming farms use proxies in unheard of locations? that would just arise suspicions. They would try blend in with a normal listener, anyone that's botted before knows this lol
I have been saying this for years
Ah yes because someone found one "streaming farm" we should invalidate all sales talk
Was never even valid in the first place
Y'all really dumb. If getting the #1 was as easy as Gunna buying some streams then Weeknd's team would've just bought more. Y'all think Trav would be jumping through all these damn bundle loophole hoops if it was as easy as just buying some streams?
The first 30secs of this is funny af lmao
How'd French have this nigga farm his streams but still sold low af
didn't travis scott start buzzing because he bought streams? We have known this for years
You saying Antidote & DBR were all paid huh
No. Dumbass.

This doesnt answer my question, dumbass.
No wonder the streaming platforms don’t want to pay artists. They know half these artists are capping with their fake streams.
billboard, nielsen, soundscan and whoever tf streaming numbers get reported too are aware of this and don't count fake streams to their numbers. why you think weeknd's numbers dropped drastically from the projections
Bruh based on the second op post, it takes 15k for a million streams.
That’s nothing for larger artists
Lmao they found a huuuuge amount of streams for huge names like Drake/Dua/Taylor... coming from a small city in the US with something like 100 people living in it. You're fooling yourself if you think that only B-lister use these kind of methods
That top cities is misleading. I'm sure it's based on percentages. If a city has 5000 it's easy for more than 50% of the population to listen to those songs especially if they are popular. And 50% is low
