I don’t recall anything obviously, but my dad told me about how he sold his car few days before and since we’re middle eastern the customer wanted to return the car and demanded a refund (despite no issues with the car). The guy called police, which they told him that nothing warrants a return and my family simply didn’t do anything.
At that time we had an Egyptian family as our neighbor and people threw fire into their backyard
Thankfully my family was never discriminated like that, tbf my parents being white passing helped…
i was in grade 2 was way too young to know whats going on i saw a picture of it in the newspaper and pieced together that it wasnt happening in canada so i didnt care i was a little a****** bruh

my mom said i was pointing at the tv saying “boom!” and s*** like that when the planes hit the towers cause i guess i thought it was a movie or some s***
obviously i didn’t understand the severity of the situation lol
In Australia it was night time I was in bed and my old man woke me up and said the world trade center has been attacked. I said 'whats the world trade center' and went back to sleep. Then seen it all on the news the next morning and went to school, all us kids were in gathered in the locker room kinda just yelling over each other in discussion (were like 7/8yos) to the point were the autistic dude put his hands on his ears and started screaming and crying. Then we were sat down by the teacher were she tried explain this s***.

i swear i remember a plane crash on tv but i dont know if it was 9/11 or aaliyah's plane crash... they were so close to each other :(
i was 4 but definitely remember tryna watch cartoons at some point that day but every channel i turned to had the news on it
I was 5 apparently my momma picked me up from school earlier cuz she didnt know if Atlanta was next.
I do remember the day after and seeing the tv at the house the day of cuz my grandma had the news on

my aunt was crying, kinda remember getting a glance at the tv but i think my mom turned my head
went to school and for whatever dumb reason they made all of us go outiside and sing the pledge of allegiance
