I have an LG tv and while the screen is pretty good and it was affordable, the OS is one of the worst softwares I’ve had the misfortune of using

    Why

    1) there build quality is no where near sony or lg
    2) their software of their smart tvs is garage
    3) i bought the galaxy fold and once it’s out of warranty it’s basically trash cause it will mostly break some how they’re very fragile, mine stopped opening 100% and they wanted me to do a trade in for a new fold
    4) i have a very expensive samsung g9 odyssey and it randomly stops showing video and the only way to fix it is to unplug the display cable the ui on the monitor even locks up, also the local dimming on the monitor is broken if there is too much black in an area it just turns it off totally but it looks awful cause it doesn’t have many zones so you just see huge black squares randomly

i like webos least it doesn’t have confusing menus and freeze up like samsung’s

i use an nvidia shield tho for most that smart stuff

My mans. Most of your post is not even about the tvs?

I’ve had TVs from all brands and yes Samsungs is by far the worst. However it’s irrelevant for me since I use Apple TV anyways. Regarding the build quality of the screen, I have not had a flagship Samsung tv so can’t speak for them. I’ve seen the S95C in store and I think it looks good. You won’t notice a difference anyways sitting several meters away from your TV.

For me Samsung is the way for me because of the one connect box and that the tv is evenly flat and don’t have a bump or anything like that. S95C is my next tv.

the trouble is you gotta get to Apple TV to even use it and the whole OS might just freeze or something with a Samsung

I've had Samsung TVs in the past also they're cheap s***, like most their products

I really want their QD-OLED but I can't buy from Samsung

You don’t need to go through their OS at all. I don’t even use the Samsung remote with my The Frame only the Apple TV remote. So I just press a button on the Apple TV remote and the tv starts on Apple TV. You can just buy Samsungs QD-OLED from Sony instead
