Well he dumb as a rock for that take.
Streets disciple is a good album. There’s really only like 2 songs toward the beginning I don’t listen to. The rest is good stuff man idk why people don’t like this album.

Not the worst oat but Tupacs beat selection makes me not miss the 90s at all whereas Biggie/Wu/Outkast beats still make it seem like it was the golden era

Personally not a fan of those blues-y, gospel-y beats that someone like Rod Wave uses. I’m literally from the city he’s from but man that’s practically all he uses.
They just sound so bland or like a beat you get off YouTube

Also them Tay Keith beats 👎👎👎👎👎
So repetitive. I think he still gets placements to this day though right? I’ve only ever heard bro use pianos. And then when he plays it, it’s like he uses one finger to press each key like a kid would do lmao

It was weird yet dope to hear Rass Kass rap over a “Bring Me To Life Evanescence” sample on one of those Jedi Mind Tricks songs, but damn, Stoupe can craft amazing beats

He had so many that just don't leave your head. Had his own ear for samples.

It's a shame he kind of left the genre without finding much success. Dutch, Vespertina, and Red Martina still had cool production though.

I liked that Red Martina project from 2014. No matter how much I get older, I can’t deny how much that Jedi Mind Tricks/Army of the Pharaohs boom bap influenced me.

Violent By Design will always be an underground masterpiece to me. I Against I>>>>>
