I do think people should give T-Pain and Lil B more credit for the modern rap scene than Ye

Artists have tried to bite chipmunk soul, electronic-fused rap, 808's sounding personal tracks etc. nearly everything pre-2009 (chance, drake etc), but no MBDTF inspired albums, a few have ripped off the yeezus cover. I would argue that yes Kanye has been a trailblazer for bending genres with hip hop, but hasn't always influenced others. Fashion however...at least popular fashion, just go outside and count the number of joggers, yeezys and street-wear combinations you see.
