It’s good but it’s not groundbreaking. Tyler the blame for getting it over hyped it is what it is

Lmao some of you niggas really think people like nerd solely because of Tyler

Bruh niggas just love discrediting people

In Search Of… Is groundbreaking, there really wasn’t an album like it within the hip hop community before it and really gave a lot of black kids something to look at and feel accepted without being disrespectful to the community already at hand.

Like it’s ok not to like the album, its subjective and i can see how its not for everybody but its really lame as f*** to try and overly s*** on the album and its influence, especially on its 20th anniversary

Some of you people just enjoy spreading negativity, its a difference between having an opinion vs just disliking seeing people enjoy something

And this album really means a lot to me, this album gave me hope when I was getting evicted and failing high school to keep following my dreams and not to give up. Like this music real life be meaning a lot to niggas and people just wanna disrespect it just because

And people will be like its not that deep, but do we not love music? How is something you love not that deep

Man seriously, like that s*** is just negative

There are plenty of albums that people love that I don’t really like but it doesn’t bother me to see people enjoy it because why would it? I get giving a constructive take on why an album isn’t for you, or even calling a new album everyone is talking about trash but s***ting on album 20 years later just because is some hater s***

especially when people present their opinion in a way where they're on some higher intellectual plane than you like bro it's music there's variety for a reason

a lot of people didn't listen to hip hop before 2016-2018 and don't go back and listen to old s*** or look into who's who or what is what

  • Mar 12, 2022

And like yeah thats fine i get everyone isnt gonna like the album

But these niggas are legends and deserve more respect than just you going out of your way to s*** on their work on its anniversary

And I feel that way about all art not just the s*** Iiike

Its a difference between sharing an opinion and trying to just spread hate because you see niggas receiving their flowers

Real classics aren’t just good noise, they have the ability to reach and understand. I definitely see “In Search Of” having that impact on alienated black teens back then ,Pharrell basically open a whole lane for black kids to be different out here before Ye.

I feel like Kid Cudi and MOTM had the same impact on me as well.

facts none of the music you hear now or the clothing you'd see people wear would exist if it wasn't for the s*** these people did and people really just gonna disrespect it. i literally don't see the reason on hating on something that brings other people joy

Was broke and nearly homeless at the beginning of the pandemic, signed a deal and finally made some money at the very last minute

Yeah I don’t agree with that either but theres def a lot of people who started listening in 2011-2014 bc of tyler but if they’re still big fans all this time later then at this point they’re just genuine fans

I like In Search Of over any tyler album and im a tyler stan
