Ain't no top 4. It's just the same ol top 3. Aubs Kendrick and Cole. Or a top 2, cuz kendrick doesn't really drop anything

Kendrick dropped 6 projects through the 2010s

Kendrick dropped 6 projects through the 2010s

That's why he's in the top 2 in that period. But he hasn't dropped an album in like 4 years now, that's a long ass time. His old s*** is carrying his name at this point.

i dont think elton john belongs for the 80s. especially since youre not limiting it to solo artists

Right he’s from the 70s good point. Then I guess Prince

  • BRAVE

The “big four” of Anthrax, Slayer, Megadeth & Metallica was specific to metal btw, so if we’re gonna do it across all genres it looks incredibly different for each decade

Throughout the 80s for example, the top four would have been MJ/Madonna/Elton John/Queen (this is probably a lil controversial but this was the top four of that whole decade)

You could arguably include Whitney Houston and George Michael for 80s too.

not fully convinced on Queen either tbh, its kinda hard to tell with them too because too much overlap into their 70s with their greatest hits compilation and stuff. i guess id put whitney houston in there too #3 but cant decide the 4th one. if we are combining solo artists and groups then i feel like there are some groups who might had had more commercial success than Prince. Phil Collins prob kinda close too tbh

some 80s acts who had a ton of popularity then that didnt last as much as the others. like Def Leppard had 2 diamond albums in the US, one of which had 4 top 10 singles but you dont hear as much about them today. and Bon Jovi also had 2 massive albums in a row (more worldwide success) and 8 top 10 hits (4 #1s

hard to rank solo artists vs groups too anyway

In the 80s, the big four were Anthrax, Slayer, Megadeth & Metallica. 1990s saw this shift to Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains & Soundgarden. The 2000s had Lil Wayne, Kanye, Eminem and T.I. and the 2010s were dominated by Kendrick Lamar, Drake, J Cole & Meek Mill.

KTT2, who are the current big 4 of the 2020s?

Bruh, f***ing Meek Mill? why do you idiots disrespect Future like this?
