I stan both but Hov raps about more topics than Drake which is a huge reason why some people don’t like Drake. KTT (excluding Drake sxn) def underestimates Drake as a MC tho.

That & I can’t lie I’m getting tired of the beats Drake raps on. Been stagnant production wise for almost 5 years.

most New Yorkers from a certain demographic will say that jay is the goat and/or their fav ever. and prolly ppl from tristate area, non-southern/western regions that don't have much of a scene or notable rappers. there's def. a New York bias

People really only started recognizing Jay as the GOAT within the last five years. I don't remember anybody throwing that title around when he dropped MCHG. It was always still either Big or Pac

I mean of course some were. Some people already say Kendrick or Drake is the GOAT. I'm just saying it used to be much more of a debate of who was #1. Jay, Big, Pac, Nas, Em all used to be thrown around in that conversation. Wasn't until the past few years that Jay became the undisputed.

I see your point Jay was always frontrunner though and his longevity especially compared to the alive ones you mentioned has him stapled as the goat
