Tyler made a better album structure/concept wise but Donda def has a lot more songs I replay often. Geniuely greatful for both albums

Tyler, Ye’s was like a chore to get through with its length, plus Kanye needs his old ghostwriters back

  • Donda, Tyler's s*** didn't connect with me this round

Igor had some staying power for me too actually, went back recently and it didn't hit the same

Those saying Donda, have you ever gotten through the album in one sitting? How many times? I like a lot of the songs but it’s too long for me to say it’s a better album, once I get to Jesus Lord it’s over I’m sleep

    A million times no struggle

"past his prime" doesnt mean incapable of great music though. ive noticed some people (not specifically you) seem to think that even GOAT level artists are just completely done creatively once they hit like 40 (even 30 tbh) and i dont think thats true. yeah some of them totally fall off but some of them are capable of great late career albums with a different perspective than their younger stuff

ex: Miles Davis made B****es Brew when he was in his mid 40s

You’re completely right, when I said he was past his prime I didn’t mean it like he was getting too old, for the last couple years every project ye’s put out has just been kinda messy
