At least drake got sales, Kendrick lost the critics cause of one word

He definitely did it to spark a conversation, and he’s a full grown adult in 2022 so he was certainly aware that it would spark both praise and controversy. To say he didn’t have that in mind would be demeaning to Kendrick imo

looking back it feels ridiculous that Kodak being featured on a rap album was a controversy

I guess it’s bc of how Kendrick presents himself but if it was literally any other rapper no one would say s***
