Pac sounded sincere to me, like he's wearing his heart on the sleeve. You can't have so much passion without putting yourself all out there. Biggie was all about creating a cinematic experience. Even when he did introspective songs it didn't feel like true vulnerability. He was a poker face type dude. Def an introvert.
And see, Pac was amazing for being able to simplify his craft like that. I see that as a strength. AEOM is the album where he admittedly dumbed it down but the songwriting is still brilliant. Then on 7 Day Theory he was back on his s***.. I see him as a lyrical rapper. He was a disciple of Ice Cube and Chuck D but it was also a case of the student surpassing his masters.
idk, suicidal thoughts seems pretty genuine to me
see what you’re saying tho
But they also have the smallest bodies of work.
They weren't active like a Nas or a Jay.
I'm more judging by quality over quantity, but not so much that I'm considering Digable Planets or Pete Rock/C.L. or something. Like there are way more Jay and Nas albums (couple of classics bw them for sure), but I personally don't think there are more than just a couple Nas or Jay albums I would put over the bulk of Tribe or Outkast's discographies
Dr Dre too
Although Compton isn’t as good as the chronics
Hot Take: All 3 of Dre's albums are overrated.
They are all impeccably produced and engineered tho.

Big could never make a 7 day theory
And Pac is arguably more lyrical on that then big
Having a GOAT discog isn’t about the absence of mid, it’s about having a lot of GOAT material
Kanye f***ing West
Anything after tlop is trash.
and most of his stuff is super overrated.
I'm always gonna say Pac. My personal favorite rapper oat but
Outkast
Kendrick
Future
Jay-Z
Common
Kanye
Drake
Wayne
Me against the work
All eyez on me
The 7 day theory
This run right here is untouchable
All within 2 years too 🤯

And Pac could never make a Life After Death.
What is your point?
And Pac could never make a Life After Death.
What is your point?
He already did
Life after death is trying to be an All eyez on Me
Haven't been through the full thread but Pac Slander will not be tolerated
Lowkey wish he had a section
He has so much music it’s actually such a trip.
The estate has 2 albums still left to be released too
He already did
Life after death is trying to be an All eyez on Me
Now you sound dumb lol.
As @Brave said earlier it’s not about the absence of mid but about having a lot of GOAT material
Wayne has GOAT material, sadly that most of it never ended on an album
idk, suicidal thoughts seems pretty genuine to me

A lot of art is based on real emotions, but that song feels like the climax to a glorious movie. It doesn't really break or challenge BIG's cold blooded gangsta image, if anything only contributes to it.
This is not criticism, just an observation.
Closest you can come to perfect is OutKast.
DAMN YOU IDLEWILD SOUNDTRACK!!!
All the legends have had their share of bullshit albums.
Some more then others.
Including all the work they've ever done, side projects, loosies, weed carrier albums, mixtape material, features, etc., who do you think has the best discography in the game?
Dam op is everything I thought at first
