D Angelo has a whole movie/documentary out on him that has been released but can’t be found to be watched anywhere I look
I'm not like 100% on her history but most people know her because Xxxtentacion sampled a lot of her songs and this went along to propel their solo career..I'm not sure Shiloh wanted the fame...Last I remember, she went missing. I have no idea what they look like but yeah.
Yeah I looked into her after this thread
Really interesting that I had heard her plenty through samples but never knew of her on her own even though she's really popular in her own right
So everyone is going to mention Doom but not billy woods?
Doom has a whole +30-year history in Hip-Hop, how the f*** is that mysterious?!
Kate Bush, shorty didn’t even go on airplanes
i know her type, a horse & carriage ass chick
i read about him and listened to some of his music since seeing this post and wow he’s incredible. like what i love about so much about british music is the underlying grit or angst or whatever word best describes there’s like a haze that i hear a lot in dnb garage and grime. burial has like the most beautiful form of this really amazing work can’t believe i hadn’t listened to him before
Haze is a good word for it. His music feels like a warm fog in a train tunnel or something. Urban lonerism, Blade Runner, Nighthawks type of music
