What was ur stat line before going down?

Im not sure it was just rec league football so it’s hard to find individual game stats for our league, we mostly keep season totals

I was on pace for a MVP of the league season though before I went down

My final stats (roughly) for the year were around 2300 yards, 14 tds, 4 picks and a 108 QBR

300~ yards rushing and 2 rushing touchdowns

thats not the point of this thread but thanks for asking, let’s get back on topic though

There’s too much to reply to here so let me put it as simple as possible so u can understand what’s happening here in the USA/on social media here (since ur not american)

By removing hospitals WE (the people) have complete control over our health

Self taught/freelance/local medical care removes the governments ability to control and regulate our health

Like i mentioned earlier, surgery on my lacerated kidney after I got sacked in a game of pickup football costed me well over 10k... if i had went to a local surgeon that DIDNT go to med school and is 500k in debt? Probably would cost me 600-700

As far as anesthesiologists and radiologists go it would be the same procedure. these local non government ran clinics would employ ppl they thought could perform radiology and anesthetics properly.

the entire debate is a “System vs People” standpoint

Abolish hospitals - People caring about people
Keep going as is - supporting the government controlling our health and being pro-corporation

If he didn't go to med school, how would your freelance surgeon know how to operate on you? You do know it's more than just reading textbooks right? You have to practice in colleges for and actual hospitals for years and intern under real doctors too. You can't drive a car after playing GTA.

As I said, you don't want government to lose control, you want them to control properly as I said in my previous post. If they are not regulated, who's stopping from clinics to charge whatever they want.

Anesthiologists and Radiologists may seem to have a small job in comparison but they get a huge pay regardless of what you think. You would have to employ them and it would cost MORE for you as I said you will have limitations of space in a small clinic naturally so less people would get operated and thus it would cost more for you. The large scale of a hospital would reduce that cost generally, the anesthiologist who would generally treat 20 patients would do it for 2-3, thereby increasing the cost per person.

The things you are suggesting might sound good to you on paper but they are not gonna go the way you think.

the solution to corporations having ridiculous amounts of capital and legally bribing politicians isn't privatization

the government is the people. if it isn't, the government is not a democracy.

the solution is fighting BACK against corporate influence and the corrupt political institutions of the US NOT feeding more industries to them.

plus most hospitals are already privately owned by corporations and operate on a profit motive which is why healthcare in the US is so f***ing dumb.

Papaw probably paid around 30k for his wounds, ya?

Assuming we implement whats being proposed itt papaw probably wouldve paid around 700-800

Again, shoutout to ur papaw but please consider the topic at hand

yeah papaw went into crazy debt because of it but we spoke as a family about it over and over and he said he'd do it all over again to be with us. So yeh obviously not a perfect system but it brought great things to us? so its gotta be good somewhat

    Exactly!

So, imagine being able to go to a local clinic and not paying the extreme prices just to find out nothing

Hospitals truly are an oppressive construct that solely exists to serve the elite (those with insurance) while ruining the lives of those who don't (the uninsured/unemployed) but as we can see itt folks are NOT ready for this conversation...
