Now nigga I know you didn’t just try to be woke and pull the racism against whites card in one fell swoop
I'm not woke, that's a cringe word.
But blaming everything you don't like on white people is racist plain and simple
Man maybe its because I'm in college but i see it frequent enough that I even as a black man use it pretty naturally at this point. And weirdly enough its been because of in person uses I've seen rather than twitter which most of yall seem to have seen it at. Never reaally thought about it much def not something to get mad at lol
There was an event I attended a couple years ago for Hispanic Herritage Month and that actress Diane Guerrero was there and she and everyone used it so much i thought it was right or something lol. I also see hispanic women at my school use it too as recently as the past couple weeks. Again, thought nothing of it
I mean it isnt even popular just a gender neutral term people choose to say instead. Really no harm in it

Same man, frequently heard it around college from Hispanic people for the past four years. Hear it around neighborhoods from Hispanic people. Ain't common, but you hear it, and it ain't hard at all to just say. Not gonna stop dummies from losing their minds over it tho
But it IS common in Latin American. It’s been like that for a minute over here.
Is there any evidence for that, i’d read a recent survey saying that of Latin Americans (i think specifically in the US) only about 25% had heard of the term and like 3% actually use it

I don’t know, I’m talking from my own anecdotal experience, but I’m specifically referring to people in Latin America, not the US.
Anybody over here with access to the internet Is very aware of the use of an “x” as substitute of “a” or “o”, although not everybody likes to use it. Some people used to put an @ like 10 years ago but that s*** looked horrible and thankfully nobody uses it anymore. In more recent years “e” is being used, and this one is actually used by feminists in real life, not just online, which makes a lot of people uncomfortable.
I guarantee you, it’s not something that white people invented by any means.
Latino = masculine
Latina = feminine
They change the last letter to x for a variable, its not that crazy
