Abysmal businessman yet still a billionaire
Bro you brought money into the equation
Entertainers create products that help us forget about this s***ty existence, and while the rich businessman dont create the product directly that you can say that they provide us like computers for example, the labourers do that, but also people work for these businessmen, the ones that underpay them, the ones that want them to work hard as possible while trying to pay them as little as they can possibly.
I promise you Jeff bezos and Elon musk have done more for humanity than Kylie Jenner
That’s a poor argument. The only reason they’re able to generate massive amounts of wealth is because of the system we’re all a participant in
But its still morally wrong

if you a broke ass nigga kill yourelf - rapper

I never talked about doing anything about humanity im talking about peoples relations to abstract concepts of entertainers and businessmen and Kylie Jenner is more of a business women than an entrainer now day as well

So you’re saying that people are just unappreciative or don’t understand how billionaire entrepreneurs have impacted their lives?
Their tiny brains think the person who appears on the movie screen once a year is more valuable?
Bro you brought money into the equation
The point of having a business is generating money Dont act retärded now
Also in theory anyone can be an entertainer but only those in the 1% can be rich business people
With entertainment theres at least a sense of accomplishing what youve earned be that by being a musician, actor, filmmaker, etc
jay z for example started off in the streets as a d*** dealer and became a billionaire
to be a rich business person its all about who daddy knows. no finesse or swag required
So you hate all celebrity kids?
So you’re saying that people are just unappreciative or don’t understand how billionaire entrepreneurs have impacted their lives?

People go to work and feel exploited and alienated and part of that is due to the businessmen taking their surplus value of course they arent gonna relate to as much businessmen.
A part of being entertainers is to be relatable, so more people follow em, listen to em, watch to em, consume their art more. People are of course gonna naturally feel more of a connection to entertainers especially if they create a really personal product like take Nirvana for example, people who have been suicidal are going to relate to them on a level they wouldn't have to some super rich businessman.
and what do you mean how billionaires impacted their lives id argue for a vast majority of people it has been negatively, through sweatshops in poorer nations, to cashing in on polarisation on Facebook that tore families apart. And the product that they produced isn't to be pinned on em, its always through collaboration (the most friendly way I can put it towards their side) they have with their own workers.
Because they actually have to earn their wealth year after year rather than have ownership of something and watch their wealth increase while employees do the real work.
Kylie is a different story. All her wealth just comes from being born príveleged. She don’t deserve to be attacked like shiesty niggas like Zuckerberg, bezos, ELON, etc but yeah it is what it is
The point of having a business is generating money Dont act retärded now
Thank you for clearing that up. Now apparently any person with a rich grandpa is also a successful businessperson according to you right?
Entertainers are literally exploited workers, why would people equate them with CEOs? And them being rich doesn’t change that context either
no, we want to rid the world of all those who exploit others and the system that allows it
Not possible
lol
Thinking we can do anything against corporations that own the world is just silly

But this is not true tho and that’s the problem, you have a much higher chance of making a living off of a business than any entertainment
the most a musician makes off their music alone is 10-15 million. Sports players make 100-200 million through corporate contracts and corporate sponsorships
This is fish and chips compared to the multi-hundred-billion dollar worth people who contribute absolutely none of the labor that creates that value.
These people control markets that directly affect our daily lives (usually for the worse) and contribute to the ever-growing problem of climate change
What difference would it be in Tesla if Elon was CEO vs. a council of workers representing the union of all Tesla employees? What material role does he even bring to the company outside of being a media figurehead and their manbaby spokesperson?

The USSR is proof that anti-corporate/anti-authoritarian action can work even in backwater agricultural states with a disconnected population
Anti-corporate action is literally the only reason we don't have child labor, excessive work weeks, a minimum wage, weekends, and a bunch of otehr social programs.

I understand there's some things in place, but to think we're ever gonna be able to truly overthrow these corporations is delusional imo. They control every aspect of our lives and are devoted to dividing us. I just don't see a scenario in which the common people unite and take them down

the fact that you're aware of it is simply the first step. Creating that conscious in laborers as a whole is the second step. Only then can an organized opposition against corporate control begin. And a LOT of Americans are very very close to that truth. The amount of people leaving their job is at a record high, and the economy is about to be the worst its ever been. Consumer confidence will be a thing of the past, and there will only be more tension between business owners and disgruntled laborers.
