Artists like, musicians/actors/comedians/etc offer the public entertainment. I imagine that has something to do with it.

Lifting the world’s spirit is a hard thing to do. I believe entertainers should be rewarded for their craft.

Ok, but what happens if we stop using their money? They still own everything and have the military on their side. I understand your arguments, but it just requires too many people to be awake to these issues for it to be possible. The majority of Americans still believe in the two party system, which is proof enough for me that most people are clueless beyond help

Entertainers obtain their wealth through their own labor. Businesspeople obtain their wealth through the exploitation of other people's labor.

So you hate all celebrity kids?

Nepotism of any kind is corny but celebrity kids like Jaden Smith, O'Shea Jr, at least have something unique to offer the world with their craft and dont need to exploit the working class in order to gain riches

    1. i'm speaking from the view of a marxist-leninist, but just because you are opposed to the system you live within does not mean you should sacrifice your life for the sake of proving an ideological point. There obviously things you must forgo because of how disgusting they are in the scheme of capitalism, but by no means does it mean you should go throw your cash and iPhone in the trash, especially when they're useful tools for organization

    2. Owning and legality doesn't mean s*** when you can steal, decieve, or cheat your way for the sake of fighting a corporation. Who cares if Walmart owns the food in their store? Steal it! Go donate it! Morality already went out the door when they shoved small businesses out of towns in exchange for massive corporate establishments that work their employees like slaves

    3. There's never too many people. The Chinese Communist Party only numbered 7,000 after the Long March. Anything is possible in the face of authority and in the name of freedom. The military legally can't intervene either. And even then, I don't expect a bunch of 18 year olds to want to start killing their countrymen the same way they do people in the third world. Sure maybe some, but not all

Entertainers are literally exploited workers, why would people equate them with CEOs? And them being rich doesn’t change that context either

how do you expect a society to work without laborers? The means of production are the absolute base of how our social structures are formed and maintained.

I will say that the concept of businesses putting value creation before service provision (artificial demand vs meeting demand) is precisely what leads to the terrible economic mechanisms and conditions we see today

the most a musician makes off their music alone is 10-15 million. Sports players make 100-200 million through corporate contracts and corporate sponsorships

This is fish and chips compared to the multi-hundred-billion dollar worth people who contribute absolutely none of the labor that creates that value.
These people control markets that directly affect our daily lives (usually for the worse) and contribute to the ever-growing problem of climate change

What difference would it be in Tesla if Elon was CEO vs. a council of workers representing the union of all Tesla employees? What material role does he even bring to the company outside of being a media figurehead and their manbaby spokesperson?

What is the unions vision for the company?
