The show moved like a slug. I stopped watching the season after Glenn died? The last major thing I remember was Sasha? Killing herself when she was captured by Negan n em and turned herself into a Walker.
After that I just never went back to it. There was no reason a show like TWD needed over 20 episodes a season s*** moved at a horrible snail pace. Like watching old DBZ episodes where they’re having stand offs, and powering up for 3-4 episodes straight.
I enjoyed Fear The Walking Dead spin-off until they killed off damn near the entire cast. Just randomly killed off everyone except 2 people iirc. Then they had the black guy “Mr. I need to clear everything” Lenny? shipped over to the show as the new MC more or less. I f***ing hate that character. He’s so 1 note and repetitive. The actual actor is f***ing brilliant, just the god damn character is autistic or some s***. Buddy always on the same s*** n he was introduced in like season 2 iirc, and hadn’t grown at all since then.
TLDR: Awful pacing plagued the show.
I stopped halfway through season 3, season 2 was miserable but 3 was decent then realized show wasn’t gonna go anywhere. Season 1 was top tier tv wish hbo or Fx made this show they wouldn’t have stifled frank darabont vision
Stopped watching when they went to that town and met that mayor or something
Garbage show
Too many episodes per season. Should have been 8-10 instead of 16. This caused them to drag out the story and a lot wouldn't happen during the episodes.

That first season was seriously a movie. Darabont could have crafted a masterpiece on par with stuff like Breaking Bad, 24 or Lost but AMC firing him blew that chance. I actually still like the following 3 seasons but they were formulaic with cliffhangers and repetitive plots. We were robbed of a classic

Garbage show
He's the best villain in the comics and they f***ed him up in the show the actor they hired was so good and they held him back.
been watching for so long I might as well see how it ends
i barely be watching tho like I just have it on as background noise & pay attention when I hear the zombies getting loud or smn
it got too fake and phony after season 5 or around when they were settled in at alexandria.
shortly after, you had all of these different factions that were just comical and it felt like something you'd see in a video game. you have dudes running around with W's on their forehead, you have negans group, and you have the people surviving in a garbage dump.
on top of that, their is still the group of feminists with ak47s that have somehow survived despite no men being left in their settlement, and you have the whisperers who walk around with masks on blending in with the zombies.
once they went full on faction vs faction storylines instead of it just being about surviving the zombies, it got lame.
and i know you can't do 10 seasons of it just being about day to day survival and worrying about the zombies, but i feel like 1-5 it had a nice blend of zombie encounters and human encounters.
once it became 100% about the factions it was like the zombies were an afterthought and nobody was worried about them anymore. everyone and their grandma just picks up a pistol and instant headshots the zombies and then everyone goes on about their business and the s***ty storylines continue lol

I’m dead. Remember the bin people episode, and the group of women with AKs, and then king Ezekiel and his CGI no budget tiger. Had to peace out after all that
Only watched the first couple seasons. Just felt aimless and not enough interesting characters
I stopped watching after Glenn’s “death,” the constant fakeouts and horrible acting had just gotten to be too much for me at that point
