For me, s*** just dragged and kept getting repeated.
Even when it got to the prison and then to Negan, s*** bored me to death.
The show moved like a slug. I stopped watching the season after Glenn died? The last major thing I remember was Sasha? Killing herself when she was captured by Negan n em and turned herself into a Walker.
After that I just never went back to it. There was no reason a show like TWD needed over 20 episodes a season s*** moved at a horrible snail pace. Like watching old DBZ episodes where they’re having stand offs, and powering up for 3-4 episodes straight.
I enjoyed Fear The Walking Dead spin-off until they killed off damn near the entire cast. Just randomly killed off everyone except 2 people iirc. Then they had the black guy “Mr. I need to clear everything” Lenny? shipped over to the show as the new MC more or less. I f***ing hate that character. He’s so 1 note and repetitive. The actual actor is f***ing brilliant, just the god damn character is autistic or some s***. Buddy always on the same s*** n he was introduced in like season 2 iirc, and hadn’t grown at all since then.
TLDR: Awful pacing plagued the show.
Best part of FTWD was when it was in LA and how you saw s*** go from normal life to apocalypse. So good.
Started Tales of the Walking Dead, similar to Black Summer but don’t think any of these people ever meet up.
i stopped after s6 or something whenrick vs negan fight in the town
but ill watch the spinoff since its a miniseries
hope they keep it 1 season and it has a nice ending
first tv show i was hooked to. s*** was like crack
walking dead the first show that i liked and everyone in my HS was watching too next day after the ep discussing it was fun af
I’ve recently been rewatching this and IMO it starts to fall off in Season 4.
The writing for the first 3 seasons is actually really good but as soon as they break the group up and do solo stories it just feels rushed and hamfisted trying to make us care about side characters.
First time around I gave up during Season 6.

it was the first time i realized watching tv might be more fun than playing video games.
I got up to season 6
Funny thing is, the Negan debut was awesome, but they pissed everything away with how horrible that next season was.
Because every problem seems the same
Kill zombies, find people > people untrustworthy > beef > kill each other and repeat

Humans were the real zombies all along 🤯🤯

Human problems could've been better like the early seasons where unexpected stuff can happen
But it started to happen with every group and every problem became similar
Comic was mad overrated too imo, around the time they killed Glen off and it became a Negan jerk fest and all that whisperer bullshit is when even the source material fell off.
just started playing the games. season 1 was goat, gonna start on s2 this week, tho I've kinda heard mixed things about s2 and s3

season 2 ep 1 is hella weak but imo it really started to click in ep 3 - rest of it is actually pretty great, just doesn't quite hit the season 1 highs
First 3 seasons are classic
But then I feel like it got too philosophical and they focused far too much on new characters I just didn't care about.

yeah dropped it after three volumes, a tv series could have improved it like it happened with the boys but sadly it didn't happen
