Idk why he regressed it but you noticed a slight more polished sound around Jeffery even though he still was experimenting with his voice. BTG is wen that polished vocals stuck though. He’s low numbers was never because of his eccentric melodies and crazy style of rapping, it was because of his leaks, terrible promo, flooding the market, and never doing a proper rollout for anything. His peers like future and Travis are bigger than him because they all did promo well and marketed themselves properly with each rollout

He also had a problem with releases where he would have 3-4 great songs and the rest were filler/mid. His only consistent releases back then were his free releases, SS1 and 2. like what? From what I remember his core fanbase and ther masses loved every tape from post barter 6. ss2 was at one point the most downloaded mixtape.
