Those just aren’t Travis Scott beats then. I think you’re going into his music thinking all the beats you hear are supposed to be made by him, that’s just cap

He used to solo produce and now he doesn’t, and it makes sense because he’s surrounded by some of the greatest producers of all time at all times now. it only makes sense that he collaborates with them a lot. But they’re by no means his beats

I agree though, he used to be a producer but now he’s more of a curator

i dont care how he makes his music as long as its fye

but someone find a notable travis song he produced by himself lol

its cool if there is none lol

What’s your definition of notable? Commercially? Or important to his discography?

    both would apply

a commercial hit would surprise me if it was all travis

but i definitely can see him having produced those drum breaky type songs he always throws as the outro

    Bullshit.

    He just too scared.

    Real artists take chances.

I can't think of the last time a non-Kanye mainstream artist took a big chance on switching things up. The closest I can think of is Ariana

Earl and Tyler definitely took major career risks with the direction they took their music.

Ah, if both apply then ion think I can find anything since he stopped producing around 2013 and his sound wasnt really mainstream until 2015

To Pimp A Butterfly is a complete 180 from GKMC

Childish Gambino just released a child movie soundtrack with trapped out lyrics with no cover, rollout or track names lol

    lol

  • Sep 6, 2020

because tyler put in 10,000 hours while travis stopped making beats

not even a bad thing but it’s just not comparable tbh

Travis focused more on vocal production.

    yup

this is it. Trav does his own vocals and everything. If u watch skyfall behind the scenes u can see him working on his vocals and autotune while metro works on the drums

  • Sep 7, 2020

    Because Trav is a pothead

    Kendrick
    Jay-Z
    Frank

Also depends how mainstream we're speaking bc there are artists like Miguel, Vince, who took some great risks too.

    I AM LOVE

He was the greatest producer of our time right out the gate, he can't progress past that

I can already tell your time on this site will be short.

Downloaded a zip of unreleased Tyler songs and a lot of them are old. Tbh his uniqueness carried him when in reality a lot of his beats kinda sucked.
But it goes without saying he progressed A LOT since then.

Travis was decent back too, but he still making beats in 2020 that sound like they were made in 2012

Look Tyler music is trash, he just make happy beats now and sing about men
