ill stand corrected. regardless the waves she made do not stem from any sort of MJ inspiration they are all hers, even if MJ gave her the platform for that to even happen. i don’t see how that’s a knock on her at all.

i don’t know why ppl bringing up sales because the praise, reverence and acclaim that Beyonce receives has never came from her commercial success (records sold, singles, charts), but always stemmed from the merit of her talents as a singer and performer along with her work ethic and consistency/longevity along with her cultural influence. Britney outsold Beyonce’s discog in her debut album, yet she was never put on the same pedestal as Beyonce.. why? Because Beyonce’s stardom was never about her sales. The fact that no one performed the way she did on stage was enough🤷🏾‍♂️

I wouldn’t rate her a better performer than MJ either, but who else possess the ability to sing at her level and then physically perform just as well w/her stage presence.. She ain MJ, but you gotta give credit that she’s q beast when she gets on stage
