34-36 has the answer
He responds and quotes Psalm "Ye are God's" and asks why are they stoning him for blasphemy for merely calling himself Son of God when the people are called Gods in the book. Again this does not explain the concept of trinity since there are verses of other people labeled as Son of God so this quote is being used wrong.
Instead you have quotes where Jesus him self declares and mentions clearly who the real God is to him and states the father is the only one and even states that the father is greater than he is and that he can't do anything without the Father. Trinity is on the basis of being co equal God's but Jesus himself puts the Father higher than himself.
John 10:30
John 10:30
John 17 21
He explains him and the father are one just as he and the disciples are one. Are the disciples God too now? How many God's are there?
John 17 21

followers of Christ being one is completely different from God and Christ being one. Is it okay to worship Jesus?

He literally said the disciples are in him just like he and the father are in eachother. He didn't differentiate.
You need to answer John 17 3 and what that means
Do you believe Jesus and the Father are are co equal?
John 17 21

I'm confused. Are you trying to say we as followers of Christ are gods too? Cuz that's definitely wrong lol

Im not saying that at all. im saying there is a difference between the oneness between thw Father and Son vs the one between believers

Oh that makes a LOT more sense. I was getting concerned for a second lol

I'm not
I'm showing another verse which is used in a similar manner but with the disciples and Jesus states the same way he and the disciples are one is like he and the father are one. This contradicts the theory of the first quote of just stating that they are one makes him God.
Jesus doesn't say "I'm God and worship me". He states who the True and ONLY God is in black and white. John 17 3

So do you pray to Jesus? Cuz in my church we learned the way to end a prayer is "in JESUS name I/we pray..." and to bind demonic spirits in the name of Jesus. Or do you avoid using his name and say God?

I pray to the Father just as Jesus did
He showed it in his actions who he prayed to. He tells you who is higher than him, he tells you who the true God is and it's the only one.
Even when he was being crucified he fell on his face praying to the Father. If you were there during that time would you pray to Jesus or pray with him to the father?
I'm not saying to believe what I believe but I've done the research, looked at the text in Greek. I suggest you do the same

Trinity doesn't mean you reject monotheism. Answer this question before we continue, is it okay to worship Jesus?

Forget even monotheism since I didn't even start to argue that. My premise is that the concept of trinity is flawed and this is going by what Jesus states in the Bible. Jesus has a God John 17 23, the father is higher than him, he can't do anything without the father's permission and he isn't all knowing like the Father. How can you be co equal when all the above applies to him?
I don't believe in that stuff but I get it
it's like how some movies have different rules about vampires based on their lore like how the vampires in Twilight can be in sunlight
why did this a***ogy make me laugh so hard

philipians 2:5-8
When the people accused him of calling himself God, why did he not deny it?
He never called Himself God.
The Father said ''This is My Son'' on the mountain He appeared and after that Jesus called Himself the Son of God
that's why Jesus said that if you know Him you know the Father and if you know the Father you know Him which extends in to what the scriptures say about Jesus being The Way/Path

Many people called him God and son of david before the Father Himself claimed Him as His Son

Psalm 82:6 "ye are gods"
