I be thinking bout this a lot. As a kid the perception I had of rap was like it was a multi decade thing at that level when it’s really a gradual progression to snoop to 50/Hov to Kanye/Wayne then drake and so on in terms of how each decade has expanded rap’s grasp

As a kid I thought something like 50 Cent or Jay z (rap artists being that big culturally) had been happening since the 80’s lol

At 40 years old this conversation never gets old because the new 20 something’s always think they are the first to think the kids like trash
