It’s predictable and not a movie I would ever watch again
I feel this with every marvel movie
Michael Jordan doesn't have a lot of range.
Couldn't tell Kilmonger apart from Adonis Creed.
also like every other marvel movie it was a fun watch, I just don’t see it being more than that
One a few times Black people get to act like how the white people act when ingesting content and non Black people felt excluded and were/are salty.
People make it about Black Panther being "bad" but ask any non Black person what is their favorite Black film or a Black film they think is extraordinary. Most of the time they probably cant tell you. Because it isn't about the quality of BP.

And that's the thing, it is. But if you say that about Infinity War or Endgame, the same fans who say that about Black Panther just can't fathom that being true for the previously mentioned movies
quite the opposite lmao
black people love the movie sure, white liberals who want to get invited to the cookout are the ones acting like it's more important than it actually is (Ex: Bob Iger comparing Black Panther to The Godfather or Taxi Driver) or every white nerd using Black Panther to defend superhero films as "cinema".

anyone who overrates the movies quality because of political/social reasons need to calm down and look at the film more objectively.
It’s a good film though, i was actively rooting for killmonger and not a lot of the other characters were that likable/interesting to me aside from okoye and m’baku
Really surprised people didn’t like MBJ’s Killmonger tbh.
Like I get that he was a bit over the top / hammy but the more I think about it I feel as if he was one of the MCU’s more interesting villains

I thought he was everyones fav part of the movie. I like his character but i didn't like MBJ's performance idk what it was but it just wasn't working for me.
Didn’t hate it but the cgi actually was terrible and the movie wasn’t anything special. Obviously it has meaning to people so they’re inclined to like it more but from a unbiased perspective it isn’t anything amazing

Loki appeals more to "entitled manchild you don't need to shower everyday" Twitter
I'm happy to hear the film had a positive effect on many but for me the film was just boring dull cgi-fest like almost every single superhero movie that comes out today just made to make more money (the only good one this decade being spider verse and i guess guardians was pretty good)
BUT i liked the soundtrack and as a fan of Ryan coogler I'm excited to see what he does next thats not superhero related and since BP was big hopefully he'll get to do anything he wants

He was over the top at times, but MBJ performances in Creed and Fruitvale Station are way better than his BP performance.
I absolutely love the film as well
Honestly, with something as mainstream as MCU, people will hate just to hate.
i liked it
