Extremely overrated movie. The fact that it was a black cast mostly people were so caught up in that it kinda shielded it from a a lot of criticism (IMO).

t’challa wasn’t as interesting as he was in winter soldier + his nanotech suit was ass

The fighting wasn't that good, especially the final CGI battle on the tracks.

Other than that it was a cool film to see with other people of color because most of us just wanted to support representation and I'm fine with that.

Even if the fighting was good, it needed more than that to be hated on. Civil War had great fight scenes, but still didn't wow me as a film.

The movie wasn't amazing but not trash at all. The story was a by the numbers hero's journey type of set up with a Marvel Budget for the action and visuals, but they pulled it off well.

To me it's like a solid 7, 7.5

The love for the movie is more about the moment of celebrating a Black Superhero movie with a Mostly Black Ensemble cast, something we don't see often.

BP 2 has to be better to retain the hype though.

Cause it’s a f***ing laughable movie that’s just as bad as 90% of the other marvel movies and no cultural context is going to change that. Acting and writing was atrocious and cgi was awful

you should have watched that in theaters in the time of release it meant much more then but still watch it now
