There has to be a level of understanding from people that poverty leads to savagery. All the problems found in the black community can be traced back to poverty. If you treat people as savages for generations then they will obviously become conditioned to be savages. It's just going to be the way it is. The Pew research poll is probably quite reliable to be fair, but that does not mean people should assume homophobia of anyone automatically

it goes against their agenda so they dismiss it. they are racist and dont believe black people can have their own opinions

i need a source on people thinking this? but my guess would be vulgar rap music (most people's only interaction with black culture) being explicitly homophobic a lot of the time whereas other culture's music has lower key homophobia
