My guess. There's a lot of backlash against MJ so I think KTT has to go extra hard for their love of MJ to compensate

All three are legends but y’all act like Mike was far and away better than these guys when it comes to the music. I’ll throw Marvin Gaye into that too.

bc he made more accessible pop music and more long lasting hits

Everyone knows a Michael Jackson songs
obviously Prince and Stevie are legends too but they don't have the same discography. MJ is unavoidable, even after the documentary he still has more radio play than lots of living artists

It's a bit obvious who's discog they actually heard. (only MJs) Idk how you can listen to all 3 and not be an immense fan of top tier musical peaks they all achieved b

To be fair Princes discog wasn’t on stream for the longest time. Streaming era has really warped peoples perceptions of artists.

    No excuse for Stevie though.

Mike also never went to war with the labels and licensed his music everywhere. Even videogames. Prince denied letting his songs used in movies and videogames. I remember when Guitar Hero was popping they wanted to give Prince a version. Prince told them, he'd rather kids actually learn the guitar and play his songs.

Let's look at the entire picture and not leave out details. If your parents were in their 20s and black in the 80s they had his discog. Obviously not all of them went radio but he got exposure whenever he wanted and fell back when he wanted.

    Damn prince

A Prince Guitar Hero game would’ve been legendary

A Prince Rockband would be unbelievable. But the man was totally committed to his music. He wasn't f***ing around with no gossip or industry s***. MJ a legend but he def stayed within bounds with fewer displays of showing out (i.e. buying Beatles/Sony catalogue, or aligning with Nation of Islam before he passed)
